Let’s begin with a warm message from Uncle Leroy:
For some time I have been of the opinion that Alumni of Color could form a powerful network. Of, course I believe that students and the College would benefit from this network but maybe my greatest aspiration is that this network would benefit alums in their post Middlebury life.
During my time on campus as ‘Uncle Leroy’ I was always amazed by all of you. Your intellelect, passion and expressions kept me from wanting to ever leave Club Midd. Now (with the help of Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter), I can again engage you and be amazed.
This my hope that this digital tool can lead to reconnections, collaborations and projects that benefit us personally and professionally.
More than once many of you heard talk about what you would do and be in the future. The future is hear and I can’t wait to see what we can do.
Leroy Nesbitt ‘82 (as we said back then ‘82 on the groove)
